WHO WE ARE
Founder & Principal Designer
Kristine Arth is the founder and principal designer of Lobster Phone. She is known for building brands that carefully balance timelessness with distinct visual expression. Arth has designed identities for global brands such as PayPal, Nivea, Western Digital, and SodaStream, in addition to start-ups such as Loliware, Coffee Meets Bagel, Ori Systems, and Eva Tech.
Her work has earned awards from Red Dot, IDA, iF Design, IDSA, SPARK!, IDEA and The Dieline. Arth has juried The One Show, IDSA and ADAA; was a keynote speaker at Brand New, AIGA Y22 and SF Design Week. She’s been a featured designer and ongoing co-host for Behance’s Adobe Live.
Prior to founding Lobster Phone, Arth was the Director of Brand at fuseproject, the eponymous design studio founded by Yves Béhar. During her 6+ years at fuseproject she built the brand practice from the ground up and led a team of international, multidisciplinary designers.

Next to developing your brand, packaging is our second love. We take a deep look into product architecture, tiers, and the relationship your product plays in the competitive landscape. We partner with a fantastic team of Industrial Designers when bespoke 3D packaging options are desired.
Custom Type Design
We create custom display typefaces that reflect your brand identity and stand out from everyone else. Typography used in otf. and ttf. format for both print and web. Bespoke display type is great for differentiating your brand and packaging and is the ultimate in brand originality.
Copy & Messaging
When developing your brand, we take into account the unique brand promise, your brand story and how that extends into messaging. We write product descriptions, headlines and tagline to accompany the brand ethos.
Web & Social
We bring out the inherent value of your brands visual identity and voice through website design and social media packages. We develop websites in Squarespace and Shopify and curate social media image libraries to enhance your brands image.
Our marketing strategy will put your brand into action! Providing a customized and unique plan that articulates all activities, using paid and organic methods, that will build your brand and drive your business. Includes marketing forecast and budget development.
